Zulu slope soaring maiden

My scratch-built Zulu's maiden flight(s). Polystyrene wing core was cut by hotwire - thanks to P&B Ian. I airbrushed the core with acrylic then covered with thin laminating plastic. Made a pod using hybrid carbon/glass fibre sleeve and heat-shrink tube over a cardboard cylinder with a carved balsa nose . Thanks to IJR Ian for photography and video using my Lumix FZ300 camera. Flies really nicely in light wind, and with drooperons and large elevons, is very manoeuvrable. RC Groups thread comment and pics on fuselage construction:
