898d+ 2 in 1 rework station review
After using the hakko 888D soldering station for almost a year, it was time to upgrade to a unit that also had hot air reflow capabilty. For $70 I purchased the offbrand (sometimes rebranded under the names Kendal, W.E.P., Yihua, or Saike) 2 in 1 rework station.
The station has a 60 watt soldering iron (compatible with hakko soldering tips and using the hakko heating element) and a 700 watt hot air reflow gun.
