Drum Stick McTwist

To capture this photo I used a handlebar mount on a drum stick, I positioned my GoPro at many different angles, this took time and it took me several hours to get my photo. I used trial and error and a variety of different drum sticks, throws and flips, along with different modes to try and capture this shot. After a few hours of playing about and jamming my drums I landed on using the 30/1 second burst mode and instead of flipping the drum stick I slowly threw it into the air. After capturing many blurry shots and dropping the drum stick countless times I viewed the 30 burst shots to find this one. I used the GoPro app to transfer it onto my iPhone and with a little editing resulted in the final product which I am very happy with!
